We are seeking to hire a mission driven Operations Task Leader. Duties include:



+ Perform operations management and oversight of application and database physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure to supports Windows and Linux based environments for GOT, COTS, custom and mobile applications

+ Establish and utilize application and database monitoring tools.

+ Leads Request for Service (RFS), Request for Change (RFC) intake, planning and execution using Remedy.

+ Supports Mobile application environments, enhance, maintain, and deploy mobile application solutions on iOS and Android platforms.

+ Support incident and problem troubleshooting

+ Monitors Change Log maintenance, prioritization and workload planning.

+ Develop project effort, risk and complexity estimating, schedule and task planning.

+ Ensure security of application data, and patch level compliance of application, databases and host environments.

+ Supports Change Control Board (CCB) procedures.

+ Supports continuous deployment with DevOPS tools, planning and agile processes and thinking.

+ Support ISO 20000 data collection, SLA performance analysis and reporting

+ Support ITIL processes.

+ Assure Service level, Application, database and network performance troubleshooting and restoration of application and database service levels.

+ Support Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, NoSQL, Big Data (Drupal, Hadoop) and open databases products.

+ Respond to Service Event and Alert Management of application and databases.

+ Maintain and collects Environment performance metrics analysis and reporting.

+ Use Dashboard Monitor and analysis of application and database log analytics and telemetry to monitors database and application resource usage, and performance monitoring to avoid service disruption.

+ Lead incident and problem monitoring, response and reporting via Remedy.

+ Performs change Log tracking and administration.

+ Provide Tier II Service Desk support and Tier III vendor coordination for service restoration.

+ Originate and maintains required technical documentation.

+ Automates Multi-tier application and database deployments; scripted runbook creation, maintenance and deployment; and resource management tasks using PowerShell, graphical and 3rd party scripting tools.

+ Performs application, database and environment configuration and patch management.

+ Leads planning, configure and deployment of security patching of applications and databases.

+ Performs backup and restore, recovery, and account management of Application and databases.

+ Support management of JEFS, the Department s cloud-based enterprise file sharing system based on Box.com



**Typical Education & Experience**

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience



**Required Skills and Education**



+ Utilization of one or more of the following: Microsoft Azure tools: System Center Configuration Manger (SCCM), Service Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Operations Management Suite (OMS).

+ Experience using Windows and Linux based environments for GOT, COTS, custom and mobile applications.

+ Operations Management oversight experience.

+ Request for Service (RFS), Request for Change (RFC) intake, planning and execution using Remedy.

+ Change Log maintenance, prioritization and workload planning.

+ Project effort, risk and complexity estimating, schedule and task planning.

+ Security of application data, and patch level compliance of application, databases and host environments.

+ Change Control Board (CCB) procedures.
