The position is responsible for leading and managing the chemical industrysworld class environment, health and safety initiative. Working closely with theExecutive Vice President and other members of senior leadership team, thisposition will develop strategies to enhance the value of service to members andPartner companies and oversee the direction and execution of the key elementsof the service program (i.e., management systems certification, security,performance measures, and oversight functions). This position will support the boardof directors committee on member services, lead member company committees andworkgroups and manage member service staff and consultants.

Minimum requirements include Bachelors degree in scientific, engineering,business or public policy related field, at least 15 years relevantprofessional level experience and significant familiarity with industryenvironment, health and safety performance programs.

Must-Haves

  • Experience with chemical industry environment, healthand safety performance programs
  • Knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes onboth federal and state levels
  • Ability to design and implement strategy, direction andaction plans

Nice-To-Haves

  • Corporate ortrade association experience in a government-related industry
  • Demonstratedknowledge of the chemical industry
