About the Opportunity:

Joint Enterprise Technologies is currently seeking an experienced Cyber Auditor/Inspector with advanced knowledge in applying analytics in support of enterprise network cyber defense capabilities to prevent sophisticated cyber threats and vulnerabilities, or detection of them when prevention fails. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening the defensive posture and cyber defense operational readiness of an IT Enterprise, our Enterprise Cyber Network Defense (ECND) program defends and protects Government assets from external Cyber Security attacks and Insider Threats that can potentially cause or create data, systems, networks, and personnel vulnerabilities.

Required Clearance:

  • AN ACTIVE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO APPLY.

  • Functional duties consist of:

  • Identify and manage network computer and system security events relative to fraud, waste and abuse, including content inappropriate to the workplace, illegal activity, productivity loss and non-compliant activity, as well as identity leakage (PII).
  • Perform forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence.
  • Utilization of tools such as Archer, Splunk, Fidelis, Solera, Proofpoint, etc.
  • Prepare case evidence and incident reports.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.
  • May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technical staff members.
  • Position may require evening, weekend or shift-work (depending on operational tempo)
  • Skills and Abilities:

  • Identify and manage network and system vulnerabilities and security events
  • Receive, acknowledge, disseminate, track, report (daily/weekly, and update vulnerability management (VM) alerts, vulnerability assessments, red/blue team events, security incidents, and the VM common operating picture (VM COP)
  • Provide inspection services across the enterprise on behalf of the organization’s) program manager
  • Support or perform global DoD inspections of GENSER and higher security domain services to ensure compliance to DoDI 8530 standards.
  • Can perform tasks of senior level technicians, specialists, and or managers due to the size and/or complexity of the task. Assists more junior level technicians, specialists, and managers in their activities.
  • May work individually or as a key member of a senior leadership team. Oversees and monitors performance across several disciplines, and when required, takes steps to resolve issues.
  • Provides expert guidance and direction to Government and Vendor senior level technicians and managers. Directs multiple contractor and subcontractor teams through to completion.
  • Education and Experience: 

  • HS/GED + 12 years experience
  • Associates Degree + 10 years experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree + 8 years experience
  • Master’s Degree + 6 years experience
  • PhD + 4 years experience
  • Required Certifications: 

    A minimum of one certification from each of the following categories:

  • IAT II – CCNA Security, Security+ CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP
  • IASAE II – CASP CE, CISSP (or Associate), or CSSLP
  • #JT
