NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Navy Program Office Administrative Specialist to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Job Description

This individual serves as the primary administrative support role for the executives, staff, and contractor support personnel for a large Navy program office. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential to successfully perform the duties of this position, as well as direct experience and knowledge of Navy program office administrative practices. Duties include but are not limited to:

* Managing multiple calendars, appointments, conference rooms and conference lines, and acting as a communication hub in varying capacities for executives and the offices as a whole
* Controlling access to a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) - position is located inside a SCIF with no windows or access to personal electronic devices
* Reviewing outgoing materials and correspondence for internal consistency and conformance with policies, e.g., Navy Correspondence Manual, and managing assignment of serial numbers and retention of records
* Making travel arrangements and processing travel documentation including visit requests in JPAS
* Coordinating special projects and department activities independently and with a high degree of initiative, e.g., purchasing professional materials and/or services for an awards presentation
* Coordinating office functions with external organizations, e.g., Change of Command ceremony
* Performing various administrative support tasks using primarily adobe and MSOffice products, e.g., scanning, printing, drafting, proof-reading

Required Qualifications

* 3-5 years related experience

Education Requirements

* Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) or higher or equivalency: 3 years of experience with an Undergraduate Degree, 7 years of experience with an Associates Degree, and 11 years of experience with a HS Diploma.

Security Clearance Requirement

* Secret

* Advanced knowledge of software programs to include MS Office applications and business unit specific programs
* Excellent writing, analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to support typical hours for this office 7AM-3:30PM with 30 min lunch
* Ability to effectively respond to shifting and changing priorities of a complex nature
* Exceptional client service skills
* Advanced organization and time management skills
