Basic Job Function Provide the strategic and tactical direction of our Government Healthcare market. Define the strategy goals and objectives for the market area and facilitate action in the accomplishment of those goals. Ensure the maximum revenue growth for the market area. Accountabilities 1. Develop and execute market planning strategy for the Government Healthcare market. 2. Facilitate action to accomplish market strategy by working within a cross functional team (finance, product development, marketing, sales, operations, customer support and research areas) to execute go to market strategies in the specific market area. 3. Direct the development of, and participate in reviewing and approving the short and long range operating objectives and plans, developing and integrating the individual market area plans and strategies utilizing experience in the Government Healthcare market into an overall market plan to achieve maximum revenue growth in support of the corporate strategy. 4. Accountable for revenue objectives in the specific market area. 5. Ensures the proper execution of strategic market area plan 6. Responsible for ensuring through the market area strategy, the appropriate product portfolio mix and appropriate positioning. Develop recommendations for new product concepts and existing product modifications utilizing healthcare market contacts and experience in line with the market area strategy and overall market area strategy. 7. Review and evaluate the market area performance on a continuing basis and establishes the proper measures of performance; provides direction for modification in work plans or implementation of contingency plans in accordance with prevailing business conditions. 8. Direct the analysis for specific near term market opportunities of major importance and the development of business cases, pricing, negotiation and contract strategies to ensure an adequate level of customer satisfaction. 9. Identify timely and appropriate business plans to support the strategic goals of the market area. Work with cross functional team on the development of the business case. 10. Develop and recommend sales channel strategy utilizing market research and data. 11. Support relationships with key accounts, industry and trade associations, government representatives, public service organizations, customers and vendors as necessary in the overall management of the market area. 12. Establishes and maintains appropriate communications within and between various functional areas within the market area of responsibility. 13. Initiates and develops pricing strategies and policies; recommend pricing actions and promotional programs in support of market area strategy and revenue plan. 14. Review the activities within the market area for strengths and weaknesses and take corrective action when necessary. Qualifications 1. Requires a BS or equivalent educational achievement, MBA is strongly preferred. 2. Requires a minimum of 7-10 years related professional experience in the Government Healthcare sector. Demonstrated knowledge and experience of both Federal and State and Local Healthcare law enforcement workflows, and programs. As well as knowledge and familiarity with potential alliances/partnerships in the market. 3. Skills required include business acumen, strategic planning, organizational assessment, confident public speaking ability, creativity, highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills, quantitative analytical abilities and outstanding communication skills as well as market specific knowledge of policies, technologies, and data driven solutions. 4. The ability to work effectively within a cross functional organization.
