The project will consist of the implementation of Kronos 8.3. in a mid-size union environment, where various union contracts and requirements are in place. The role will need to support the implementation in a variety of areas, such as payroll, training, configuration and interface development. The consultant will need to have a strong understanding of best practice within Kronos implementations and the ability to provide guidance, mentoring and knowledge transfer to the internal client team through the full life cycle of implementation.The position will require the consultant to be onsite in the DC area Monday through Thursday each week.Principal ResponsibilitiesComplete all tasks assigned, in a timely manner following Kronos implementation best practicesWork closely with the Kronos Project Managers to complete tasks delegated by the Project Managers in support of system implementationsFully document all tasks requirements and ensure they meet the client documentation policies,Tasks may includeImplement data collection devicesPerform business rule analysisConfigure software applicationConduct application orientation for customersAnalyze enhanced requirements and create process documentation, diagrams and feature specificationsUnderstand and configure base level (non-complex) software interfacing productsConsult with customers on system configuration, industry specific features and system processes and proceduresAid with training material developmentProvide knowledge transfer to key client employee on various areas of the applicationsQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required.Minimum of 8 Years experience in the implementation of timekeeper, accruals and attendance modules within Kronos software solutionsMinimum 3 years experience, working with WIM and basic interfaces Experience with multiple PC operating systemsExperience utilizing PC application software (MS Office)Experience in the utilization of Oracle & SQL relational databasesDemonstrated communication skills written and verbalExperience and understanding of the people Soft application a plusKronos Certification in configuration and Timekeeper administration preferred
