Purpose The Contract Specialist handles government contract process from \"cradle to grave.\" Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), GSA Schedules, contract administrationsubcontract administration required. Knowledge of FAA AMS (Acquisition Management Systems) a plus. Responsibilities Prepare Subcontract Agreements, Letter Contracts, Consulting Agreements Non-Disclosure Agreements, Proprietary Information Agreements, Teaming Agreements Memorandum of Understanding, and other related agreements. Analyze significant, andor unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure and communicates results effectively Assist internal business teams on corporate goals and objectives relating to contract activity. Focal point for all communication with finance and business team disciplines for resolution of contract issues and disputes. Review complex solicitations and prepares specialized andor non-routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications. Cost analysis and pricing of government contract proposals Development and production of cost proposals and ensuring the timely generation of pricing submissions and compliance with solicitation requirements, government regulations (FAR) and established reviewapproval process. Works with interdisciplinary teams to ensure contractual requirements are met as determined by established deliverables. Manages the account deliverables matrix. Ensures adherence to those deliverables, communicates milestones and commitments Reviews solicitations to ensure compliance with terms and conditions Prepares responses to certifications and representations Coordinates with program managers (task leaders and others) to ensure the fulfillment of contract requirements and compliance Qualifications Number of Years Experience Required 3-5 years experience in federal government contractssubcontracts administration. Minimum Education and Certifications Required Bachelors Degree in a related discipline, preferably a Juris Doctorate (JD) Computer Skills Microsoft Office Suite Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Must be a US Citizen Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent teamwork skills ability to work and excel independently strong time management skills Ability to interface with all levels Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel Small company work experience preferred Flexibility to wear many hats and adapt well to change Experience in all types of contracts (TM, CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, FFP) and costprice analysis Knowledge of SCA, DBA, FARDFAR and CAS compliant requirements Understand Federal schedule pricing and regulations FAA AMS knowledgeexperience strongly preferred Associated topics: attorney, attorney corporate, business, company, compliance department, compliance office, court, lawyer, legal department, market
