Position Details U.GROUP is looking for an Account Manager with a passion for leading accounts and advancing client relationships in a fast- paced environment. As a part of the Delivery Team, you will work with team members across multiple disciplines and departments in a highly collaborative atmosphere to drive client impact. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic vision, creative problem solving, and proven expertise to deliver high impact service through client relationships and successful engagements. What You'll Do Manage direct client relationships and deeply understand their most pressing needs, objectives, and desired impact as a result of our work Align client objectives and opportunities across diverse account team activities Manage project objectives and contracts, ensuring deliverables align with account goals and meet all requirements Establish and maintain positive client and team member relationships and ensure overall satisfaction Develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of individual engagements, which may translate to new opportunities Collaborate with leadership and other stakeholders to define engagement scope, resourcing, objectives, and delivery to support client goals Develop strategic project plans and manage against them, creating reports, close-outs or other documentation, with internal project teams and /or clients Oversee operational performance of accounts, ensuring appropriate resourcing, quality work delivery, timeline and budget adherence among team members, third-party contractors or consultants Manage through changes in project scope, identify and mitigate potential risks, and creatively problem solve with client and project team colleagues to adjust delivery timelines and / or scope Identify industry trends and opportunities related to company capabilities and translate to actionable strategies that drive expanded impact and deeper client relationships Analyze profitability, revenue, bill rates and utilization across multiple projects Coordinate with project delivery support team, which may include Project Manager, Project Coordinator, or Accounting Manager What It Takes 5 years direct work experience in an account management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution Strong analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities for a fast-paced and high-stakes project environment Ability to build a collaborative working environment with cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including leadership, diverse delivery teams, and clients Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to treat your clients business as your own Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills Knowledge and background in brand, digital experience, marketing and/or media Familiarity with project management software, such as Smartsheet or MS Project Advanced understanding of MS Office Suite, specifically MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Bachelors degree and U.S. citizenship required
